Clinical Nurse Leader, Long-Term Care Specialist

Providence Health Care (PHC) is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Leader to join our team at St. Vincent's Langara Long-Term Care. As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents and supporting the nursing team.
About the Role:This is a casual position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating resident care activities and supervising staff
- Monitoring resident acuity and adjusting staffing levels as needed
- Acting as a clinical resource to nursing staff and other team members
- Participating in rounds and clinics to assess resident needs and implement interventions
- Collaborating with other disciplines and departments to ensure comprehensive care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
- Three years of recent related experience in long-term care or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to supervise and mentor staff
- Knowledge of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) procedures
