Job Title: Senior Cinematic VFX Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cinematic VFX Artist to join our team at Cloud Chamber. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, in-engine cinematic visual effects that captivate and engage our audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cinematic visual effects that meet the highest standards of quality and creativity.
  • Collaborate with the VFX Lead, Cinematics Team, and other departments to develop and refine our creative and technical approach.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of VFX principles and adjacent subject matter.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our workflows and processes.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, production, and management to ensure that project goals and deadlines are met.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in AAA Game Development or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of VFX principles and adjacent subject matter.
  • Experience with Unreal Sequencer or adjacent in-engine cinematic workflow.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5/4.
  • Good understanding of the fundamentals of Blueprinting, Materials, Sequencer, and clean workflows.
  • Solid understanding of authoring software such as 3DS Max/Maya, Photoshop, Substance Designer, or similar.
  • Experience with packages such as Houdini and Embergen.
  • Highly motivated with strong communication skills and an open-minded professional attitude.
