Position: Senior Account Manager, Corporate Affairs
We are looking for a skilled Senior Account Manager to oversee and guide clients with corporate initiatives. In this role, you will work collaboratively within a team, offering strategic advice and recommendations to clients while achieving results through both traditional and innovative public relations methods. You will gain a thorough understanding of your accounts, including their business operations, products, market dynamics, and key industry influencers. The Senior Account Manager will partner closely with senior team members to execute reputation management strategies for Zeno clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement media relations strategies while managing outreach for various programs and maintaining business media connections.
  • Assist with issues and crisis management initiatives for clients.
  • Create and execute thought leadership initiatives for senior executives.
  • Develop strategies and oversee monitoring programs.
  • Lead client service efforts in program planning, problem resolution, and strategic guidance.
  • Maintain financial oversight for accounts, including forecasting and ensuring account profitability.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients and colleagues within the Zeno network to drive success.
  • Identify new growth opportunities through insights into the company, client, industry, and economic landscape.
  • Secure, sustain, and expand business relationships.
  • Analyze key competitors and their business strategies.
  • Stay informed on industry issues related to products, technologies, and market competition.
  • Collaborate across geographies to influence the direction and focus of practice.

Qualifications:
  • 4-7 years of experience in public relations, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
  • A collaborative mindset, results-oriented approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong background in corporate communications with established media relations contacts.
  • Exceptional writing skills across diverse client deliverables, including communication plans, pitches, articles, and blogs.
  • Experience in developing strategic plans and high-quality deliverables that are client-ready.
  • Preferred experience in consumer packaged goods, energy, industrials, B2B, technology, health, or financial services.
  • In-depth knowledge of reputation management and familiarity with both traditional and non-traditional media.
  • Proven success in cultivating relationships with media professionals and delivering results for clients.
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience in client interactions and participation in meetings and presentations.
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and holistically about client programs, confidently presenting ideas during brainstorming sessions.
