Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Unit Clerk to join our team at BC Women's Hospital & Health Centre. As a Unit Clerk, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Manage patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate patient transfers and discharges
  • Process and transmit medical orders and test results
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry and filing

Requirements

  • Grade 12 education and completion of a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk program
  • 1 year of recent experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
