We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Western Restaurant Franchises Inc. O/A A & W Restaurant. Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
- Ensure that staff are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Food Quality and Safety
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain accurate records of stock and inventory.
- Ensure that food meets quality control standards and that all food safety protocols are followed.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that customer service standards are consistently met and that customers receive a high level of service.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other relevant data.
- Prepare and submit reports as required.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related industry.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Basic security clearance.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods and walking. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail is essential.
