Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting, servicing, and repairing industrial and safety products such as self-contained breathing apparatus, gas monitor units, torque wrenches, chain hoists, and other safety lifting devices. You will work closely with our team to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standards.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

* Preparing estimates for repair or service on authorized work orders
* Reviewing plans/schematics and specifications to determine required materials and/or sequence of repairs
* Investigating and troubleshooting main equipment issues in a quick turnaround time
* Testing equipment to confirm operating performance and completing required documentation
* Operating a variety of hand and power tools
* Maintaining parts inventory and work area in an orderly fashion
* Ability to work in a shop and customer-facing during on-site and office visits
* Actively participating and contributing to safety meetings
* Actively supporting Company principles by encouraging team to suggest new ideas, be accountable for actions, work as a team and keep abreast of new products and opportunities
* Observing safety policies and procedures of Occupational Health & Safety Act and any other pertinent legislation governing applicable
* Other duties and responsibilities may be required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Completion of High School Diploma
* Additional training or education in technical or business-related fields is preferred
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and handle various priorities
* Required to obtain 2 designated manufacturer certifications within 1st year of employment
* Mechanically inclined & experience in mechanical aptitude is preferred
* Self-motivator, autonomous and resourceful
* Good mathematical proficiency
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability and desire to work in a team environment
* Proven ability to work with various computer programs
* Valid driver's license, on the road requirements (Company truck available)
* Valid passport & ability to travel to United States for training, certification purposes
* English and French required as the role supports and interacts with team members from all Canadian provinces.
