About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team at Entuitive. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering structural engineering solutions for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and engineering of structural components, including columns, beams, slabs, foundations, and lateral systems.
  • Use of materials such as structural steel, concrete, masonry, cold formed structural steel, and wood.
  • Assembly and coordination of engineering drawings and contract documents with BIM technologists and other team members.
  • Field reviews and contract administrative duties.
  • Project-related correspondence and participation in client meetings.
  • Review of architectural, electrical, mechanical, and structural drawings.
  • Use of QA tools and completion of checklists.
  • Mentoring junior staff and ensuring standards are upheld.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree with a focus on civil and structural engineering.
  • 4-8 years of professional experience in the AEC industry.
  • Achieved or working towards professional engineering (P.Eng) status in the Province of Ontario.
  • Knowledge of building codes.
  • Strong project management capability with a proven track record of on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, etc.).
  • Knowledge and interest related to embodied carbon is considered an asset.
