Structural Engineer Opportunity

Meridia Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our client's team in Whitby, Ontario. The successful candidate will work on industrial, institutional, recreation, and municipal building projects, collaborating with the firm's Partners and Project Architects to plan, design, and prepare engineering drawings and documentation.

Key Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a 4-year university engineering program.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a structural design firm.
  • Eng. Designation.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the design, documentation, and successful completion of engineering projects.
  • Making independent decisions on work methods and procedures.
  • Conducting studies, analyses, interpretations, and drawing conclusions.
  • Developing practical and cost-effective solutions to engineering problems.
  • Providing technical review and engineering design input.
  • Overseeing the work of technicians preparing working drawings.
  • Delivering a client-focused and customer service approach.
