Cabinetmaker's Helper Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinetmaker's Helper to join our team at Legend Canada International Holding Co., Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision and care.
  • Clean and maintain heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in instructing apprentices and providing guidance on best practices.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt with attention to detail.
  • Support medical examiners in charge and assist in various tasks as needed.
  • Participate in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications with accuracy and precision.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning up debris.
  • Perform routine maintenance work and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and tend to machines and equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites with caution and attention to safety.
Requirements:
  • Will train and develop skills in cabinetmaking and construction.
  • Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
