ARAG Legal Solutions Inc., a prominent entity in the field of legal expense insurance, is looking for qualified candidates to fill two roles. Our organization is dedicated to providing a comprehensive suite of legal expense solutions tailored for brokers, underwriting agents, and insurers across the nation.
The Claims Examiner will be accountable to the Vice President of Claims and will be instrumental in enhancing our footprint within the legal expense insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyze new and prospective claims to ascertain coverage in accordance with insurance agreements.
- Engage in the resolution of claims and coverage disputes.
- Provide training and expert guidance on products and risk management to legal professionals and firms.
- Establish and nurture relationships with external legal practitioners.
- Support various accounting activities.
- Contribute to the formulation and execution of claims management protocols and policies.
- Prepare reports on liability and damage assessments.
- Oversee and manage claim documentation.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in claims or legal-related positions.
- Background in insurance litigation and tort law is advantageous.
- Proficient in evaluating and resolving litigation matters.
- Familiarity with legal fees and billing evaluations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal skills to foster and maintain professional relationships.
