Oncology Nurse Practitioner
As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Nurse Practitioner in the Oncology Clinic plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care to patients with neuro-oncological conditions. This position invites new graduates to join a collaborative environment where they will work alongside healthcare professionals to assess and address the health needs of clients and their families.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide treatment for patients with complex health issues within the Nurse Practitioner scope.
- Prioritize health conditions and deliver continuous care and follow-up.
- Engage in collaborative practices with multidisciplinary teams for accurate client evaluation and diagnosis.
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans in accordance with established guidelines.
- Participate in clinical research aimed at enhancing patient care and influencing health policy.
- Contribute to the education and professional development of healthcare staff.
- Review and implement nursing policies and best practices.
- Oversee and mentor healthcare personnel to ensure high standards of care.
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
- A minimum of four years of pertinent nursing experience.
- Capability to perform a full range of Nurse Practitioner duties.
