Nurse Practitioner, Gyne-Oncology Specialist

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Gyne-Oncology team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with gynecologic cancers.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose patients with gynecologic cancers, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering a culture of respect and compassion.
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Four (4) years of recent, and relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) required.
