About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team at TRUCK & TRAILER DOCTORZ LTD. as a Repair and Replacement Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality repairs and replacements of automotive glass components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate Repair Costs: Accurately assess damage and estimate repair costs based on examination reports.
  • Work Space Maintenance: Clean and maintain a safe and organized workspace to ensure efficient operations.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and provide on-the-job training to ensure the development of our team members.
  • Component Replacement: Replace front-end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components with precision and attention to detail.
  • Body Surface Repair: File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Preparation for Painting: Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, adhering to strict quality standards.
  • Dent and Defect Repair: Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers, restoring the vehicle's original shape.
  • Component Removal and Installation: Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and bolt or weld replacement parts into place with precision.
  • Interior Component Repair: Repair or replace interior components, ensuring a like-new finish.
  • Window and Windshield Repair: Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs, adhering to safety standards.
  • Filler and Soldering: Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Frame Straightening: Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment, restoring the vehicle's original shape.
