Job Title: Automotive Glass Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team at TRUCK & TRAILER DOCTORZ LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating repair costs, cleaning and maintaining workspaces, instructing apprentices, and repairing or replacing damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Clean and maintain workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Instruct apprentices in various aspects of automotive glass repair and installation
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs using specialized equipment and techniques
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and team player skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding job
