Job Title: Truck Mechanic

Centre de Camion Cambec Diesel Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of commercial transport trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a fast-paced environment
