Job Title: Health, Safety Specialist

Join Omya as a Health, Safety Specialist and contribute to the development and implementation of effective Health, Safety and Environmental management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards and improving safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into business operations.
  • Provide training and support to employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements:
  • University degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental health or occupational safety field.
  • Strong knowledge of local laws, standards, and regulations related to environment, health, and safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement.
