Carpentry Foreman/Woman Job Description

Cobrafer Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of carpentry components, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpenters, apprentices, and other tradespeople.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation of carpentry components.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and organized work site.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
