About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Analyst to join our team at Aitchison College of Technology & Health Sciences Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop databases to store and manage large amounts of data
  • Operate database management systems to analyze data and provide insights
  • Develop and implement data administration policies, standards, and models
  • Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy
  • Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage, and for the backup and recovery of data
  • Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models
  • Write scripts related to stored procedures and triggers
  • Collect and document user requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in database administration and analysis
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems, data analysis, and business intelligence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data science and machine learning
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools and technologies
  • Ability to lead and coordinate teams
