Job Title: Database Analyst

Aitchison College of Technology & Health Sciences Inc. is seeking a skilled Database Analyst to join our team. As a Database Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing databases to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop databases to meet business requirements
  • Implement data administration policies, standards, and models
  • Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy
  • Develop and implement data access rules and policies for network access and usage
  • Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models
  • Write scripts related to stored procedures and triggers
  • Collect and document user requirements
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in data administration
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data analysis software and database management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and technologies
  • Knowledge of data governance and data security principles
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance and support to junior team members
