Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

L.A. Food Services LTD is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, maintaining a high level of quality control.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that all necessary materials are available.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that all team members are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, stock, and wastage.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a client-focused approach.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a noisy, odorous, and wet/damp environment, with occasional outdoor work. Relocation costs will be covered by the employer, and the position is available on a permanent basis.

Language:

The primary language of work is English, and the successful candidate will be required to have excellent oral communication skills.Hours:

The position is available for 37.5 hours per week, and the successful candidate will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
