Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' needs and abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide direct therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote skill development and peer support.
- Effectively manage a caseload of patients, ensuring timely and coordinated care.
- Contribute to program development and improvement initiatives.
- Supervise student placements and provide mentorship opportunities.
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals experiencing various mental health conditions.
- Proven ability to facilitate therapeutic group sessions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of discharge planning principles and processes.
