About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Maintenance team as a Technical Assistant, Reliability. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily walk-throughs and inspections to identify and address any issues with our mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with various trades to provide support and assistance with task completion.
- Locate and troubleshoot sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
- Organize and maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
- Assist with daily maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements.
- Coordinate work with contractors and vendors.
- Respond to emergencies and provide support as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role or related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic maintenance tasks and principles.
- Experience with PVC repairs and maintenance considered an asset.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekend rotations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with cannabis or in a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and standards.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
