Electrical Technician - Building Systems

CIMA+ is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our building electricity team in the metropolitan area. As a key member of our team, you will participate in the design of electrical systems, conduct surveys, and assist the engineering team in the realization of projects in the commercial, industrial, institutional, and hospital sectors.

This role offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to work with a passionate team where initiative and trust are strongly encouraged. We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement that allows you to work from home and from one of our offices in the Greater Montreal area.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including electrical distribution, lighting, and fire alarms
  • Conduct field surveys and plan surveys to ensure accurate project execution
  • Produce plans and models using AutoCAD and REVIT software
  • Ensure compliance with norms and standards for drawings and models
  • Participate in site visits and work supervision
  • Assist in calculations and equipment searches under the supervision of the project engineer
Qualifications
  • Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in a field related to electricity, electrical engineering, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of building electrical codes and regulations
  • Minimum three years' relevant experience
  • Good command of REVIT and AutoCAD software
  • Knowledge of AGI 32 lighting calculation software (an asset)
  • Proficiency in spoken and written French
  • ASP Construction card (an asset)
  • Valid driver's license
