Position: Technician IV - HVAC/Refrigeration
Overview:
The Technician IV - HVAC/Refrigeration plays a vital role within our organization, tasked with the upkeep and servicing of facility systems to guarantee peak performance. This position demands a proficient individual holding a valid Certificate of Qualification in HVAC/Refrigeration.
Primary Responsibilities:
Installation & Troubleshooting
- Install, repair, and maintain heating and air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment issues.
- Ensure the proper operation of valves, piping, and fittings.
- Carry out installations of motors, thermostats, and humidistats.
Maintenance Duties
- Respond to service requests and execute maintenance tasks.
- Monitor facility systems and equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
- Implement preventive maintenance strategies.
Client Engagement
- Offer recommendations for facility improvements and repairs.
- Engage in facility-related projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
- College Diploma/Certification in HVAC/Refrigeration.
- Proficient troubleshooting and maintenance capabilities.
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid HVAC Certificate of Qualification.
- Gasfitter I & II license is advantageous.
- Facilities Technician Certification is a plus.
