About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer in Kamloops. As a key member of our satellite clinic team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our new cancer centre at Royal Inland Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work collaboratively with a well-established team of medical oncologists, GP oncologists, and allied health professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
  2. Participate in clinical, research, administrative, and educational activities to advance the field of oncology.
  3. Report to the Department Head of Medical Oncology at BC Cancer – Kelowna.
  4. Contribute to the development of our new cancer centre at Royal Inland Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility that will bring cancer care closer to home for patients and families.
Requirements
  1. Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology.
  2. Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
  3. Eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer, and Royal Inland Hospital.
  4. Eligibility for a clinical appointment to the University of British Columbia, Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine.
