Job Title: Associate Physician, Medical Oncology

We are seeking an Associate Physician in Medical Oncology to join our team at BC Cancer – Abbotsford. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical and academic services to patients with cancer.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in clinical research, and contributing to the development of academic excellence in a provincial cancer care environment. You will work collaboratively with our team to deliver comprehensive cancer care services, including systemic therapy, radiation oncology, and diagnostic services.

Requirements
  • Medical degree and a minimum of 2 years' training in a postgraduate medical training program, ideally with internal medicine/oncology experience.
  • Eligibility for licensure in British Columbia in the Associate Physician Class.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with families about health findings, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and follow-up.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team.
  • Ability to document in accordance with CPSBC and organizational standards, policies, and guidelines.
