About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Thumka Holding Ltd. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate dishwashers, wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Scour pots and pans, and keep records of food quantities used.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling payments.
  • Inventory and Stock Management
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, ensuring that all food and beverages are properly stored and rotated.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Will train on the job.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience
    • Conventional oven.
    • Deep fryer.
    • Electronic cash register.
    • Food dispensers.
    • Grill.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Fast-paced environment.
    • Overtime required.
    • Physically demanding.
    • Repetitive tasks.
    • Standing for extended periods.
    • Work under pressure.
  • Weight Handling
