About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at ETAC Service & Supply Inc. as a key member of our engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, supervising technicians, and ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Conduct feasibility studies, design operation and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks, and prepare material cost and timing estimates.
  • Project Management: Supervise technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts, and other engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Technical Leadership: Develop and implement maintenance and operating standards for electrical systems, investigate electrical failures, and conduct micro or nanodevices simulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in design, development, and project management.
  • Certifications: Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Windows.
  • Specialization or Experience: Experience in the green economy sector, with a focus on electrical systems and equipment.
