Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to join our team at Northwest Truck Lines Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation management and a proven track record of success in ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize routes and reduce costs
    • Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, including hours of service and cargo security
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods
    • Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of transportation professionals
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in transportation management
    • Proven track record of success in ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Language
    • Fluent in English
  • Work Hours
    • 40 hours per week
