Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Trimac Transportation. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance on diesel "heavy-duty" trucks, as well as chemical trailers and dry bulk units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on diesel "heavy-duty" trucks, chemical trailers, and dry bulk units
  • Diagnose and repair issues with engines, transmissions, chassis, and other truck systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Work with electrical systems, including starting systems, electrical systems, and lights
  • Use hand and air tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
Requirements
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Red Seal certification is an asset
  • CVIP certification is an asset
  • Two years of verifiable mechanic experience
  • Ability to work at heights up to 15 feet
  • Grade 12 or equivalent

Pay Range
