Position Overview

As a Home Support Worker at Developmental Dynamics Human Services Inc., you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment of 32 hours per week.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year but less than 2 years in a similar role.
Work Environment

The position is primarily set in an educational environment, focusing on the well-being of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients in aquatic settings, such as pools.
  • Encourage and support regular physical activities, including walking.
  • Provide guidance on infant care for new parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and maintain cleanliness.
  • Plan and prepare therapeutic diets and meal plans.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Shop for groceries and household necessities.
  • Prepare meals as needed.
