Maple Leaf Foods Inc. is seeking talented and ambitious graduates to join our Finance Leadership Track Graduate Program. This three-year rotational development program is designed to equip you with the skills and expertise needed to succeed in a career in finance.
Program OverviewThe program consists of two tracks: Accounting / Controllership and Business Finance / Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Each track includes three one-year rotations across different subfunctions within Finance, providing you with diverse and meaningful experiences.
Accounting / Controllership Track- Gain hands-on experience in financial reporting processes and systems, financial report preparations, accounting policies and transactions, financial statement analysis, and management reporting needs.
- Develop your skills in Treasury, Internal Audit, Tax, or Business Finance to broaden your financial experience.
- Work as a business partner to our sales, marketing, operations, or logistics teams in a Business Finance role.
- Gain experience in assisting in the development of monthly forecasts and annual budgets, as well as monitoring financial performance against the budgets and forecasts.
- An opportunity to experience roles and/or projects that span a wide breadth, directly tied to achieving Maple Leaf Foods' vision and purpose.
- Learn the foundations of Finance through accelerated exposure to several core areas.
- Executive Sponsor and Program Manager support.
- Senior and Peer level mentorship for both business and functional expertise and advice.
- Customized learning and networking opportunities through organized events.
