Food Service Manager

Thumka Holding Ltd is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide guidance and training to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare food order summaries for the chef, supervise and check assembly of trays, and establish work schedules.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Youths: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
- Support for Mature Workers: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers.
