Position Summary:

The Residential Red Seal Electrician role focuses on the installation of meters for residential buildings. While the primary location is in Regina, there may be a need for travel to nearby rural areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exemplify HPL's dedication to outstanding customer service
  • Identify and rectify electrical problems in residential systems
  • Service, maintain, repair, and install equipment in line with specifications
  • Execute repairs and installations in compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code
  • Conduct inspections and routine maintenance of equipment
  • Follow safety regulations and guidelines
  • Stay updated on contemporary equipment and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Journeyperson Red Seal Electrician certification
  • Valid driver's license for Saskatchewan is required
  • A minimum of three years of experience in residential and commercial electrical systems
  • Strong analytical and customer service abilities
  • Physically fit to perform necessary tasks
  • Capable of lifting heavy tools and equipment
  • Open to travel and working outdoors in diverse conditions
  • Completion of pre-access evaluations, including hearing and drug tests
