Job Summary:
BlackBerry QNX is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex projects in the automotive and embedded software domains. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute software releases, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Collaborate with software developers, group leaders, and contractors to obtain or provide program, technical, and progress data.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identify and mitigate risk factors to ensure successful project completion.
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including senior management and customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- Proven technical project/program management and software development experience, ideally in the automotive or embedded software/RTOS domains.
- Experience with software implementation project management, planning, and deployments in an AGILE environment.
- Knowledge of UNIX-based operating systems and software development tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing commercial implementation projects in the Embedded and RTOS Market.
- Direct experience with QNX software development.
- Knowledge of quality-related standards, such as ISO 9001, SEI-CMMI, and ISO 26262.
