Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Developer to join our team at BlackBerry QNX. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for integrating our QNX products with customer systems, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish module and system level architecture for projects, ensuring optimal integration of QNX products
  • Provide expert guidance on the use of QNX products, identifying best practices and areas for improvement
  • Conduct experiments to validate architectural decisions, ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and debug customer issues, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Participate in safety and security related discussions, staying up-to-date with industry standards and regulations
  • Develop Proof Of Concept apps to aid integration of QNX modules into customer systems
  • Analyze performance issues and optimize system performance, leveraging the strengths of various hardware platforms
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded software development, with a strong focus on integration and system architecture
  • Excellent C programming skills, with experience working with GCC and GDB
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working on large projects with high levels of integration, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Hands-on experience with embedded operating systems, including QNX, Linux, GreenHills, and VXworks
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and analyze technical problems
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
