Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanic Team Leader to join our team at Autobus Québec Métro 2000 Inc. in the Capitale-Nationale region.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance on our fleet of buses to ensure reliability and safety.
  • Diagnose and repair operational problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Manage the bus fleet, including procurement and parts management.
  • Supervise and train mechanics, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and annual maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor and analyze critical events, seeking the best cost/quality ratio for repairs.
  • Procure materials and manage parts, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Participate in tool purchasing and monitor warranties.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics.
  • PEP card (mandatory).
  • At least 5 years' experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.
  • Valid Canadian work permit (mandatory).

Skills and Aptitudes

  • Good attendance and punctuality.
  • Good manual dexterity and analytical skills.
  • Leadership, professionalism, resourcefulness, and responsibility.
  • Valid driver's license.

Working Conditions

  • Monday to Friday, day shift.
  • Starting salary: $/hour, depending on experience.
