Pricing Manager

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a seasoned professional to join our Home Equity Finance team as a Pricing Manager. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing pricing exceptions across Canada, supporting our sales partners to win in the market while ensuring revenue targets are met.
Key Responsibilities- Execute the pricing strategy for Residential Mortgages and Secured Credit Lines, working closely with the Director Pricing Strategies Home Equity Pricing.
- Review and approve rate exception requests in excess of sales leaders' authorization levels.
- Provide detailed strategic competitive analysis on pricing, identifying opportunities to enhance our market position.
- Conduct market research and provide competitive intelligence, including mystery shopping and website analysis.
- Assist with initiatives and projects as needed, providing backup support to the Manager, Program Processes and Exceptions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales partners, providing market insight and strategic guidance.
- 8+ years of mortgage sales experience, with a strong understanding of the mortgage sales process.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- University degree or extensive related work experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
