We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Acier Fati inc. As a key member of our metal fabrication department, you will be responsible for operating various metalworking machines to produce high-quality metal products.
Key Responsibilities- Operate light or heavy metalworking machines to cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or shape metal stock into parts or products.
- Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and specifications.
- Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Document work completed and investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs.
- Select and transport material to the work area manually or using a crane or hoist.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Hand-eye coordination and ability to handle heavy loads.
- Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling capacity.
