Our Retail teams collaborate with partners in Wealth Management, Small Business, and Mobile Mortgage Services to foster comprehensive financial development for our Members.

As a key member of the branch sales team, your primary focus will be to comprehend the financial requirements of our Members and offer tailored advice and recommendations.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Delivering comprehensive credit and investment guidance.
• Understanding how Meridian's offerings can enhance Member value.
• Identifying and advocating solutions that align with Member needs.
• Providing informed recommendations on credit products through precise interviewing and underwriting skills.
• Engaging in revenue-generating activities to meet performance targets and cultivate external relationships to optimize sales and service outcomes.
• Utilizing available tools to proactively identify and promote opportunities, deepening relationships and ensuring exceptional service experiences.
• Leveraging virtual technology platforms for effective communication and meetings with Members.
• Actively contributing to the leadership team in planning and implementation processes.

Represent Meridian Credit Union in your community by participating in local events and activities, exemplifying our Company Values.

Support community organizations through Business Development initiatives and the Good Neighbour Program, including planning and executing Meridian-hosted community events.

Applicants should possess:

• A post-secondary education and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the financial services sector, demonstrating a strong sales record.
• In-depth knowledge of the business and financial industry, with aspirations for career advancement.
• MFDA licensing, as required for most positions.
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
