About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Sprucedale Care Centre Inc. as a Nursing Care Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to our residents, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and personal hygiene.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met.
  • Administer bedside care, including changing non-sterile dressings and assisting with feeding.
  • Support our residents in their exercise routines, promoting physical activity and mobility.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the health and well-being of our residents to the nursing team.
Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in Personal Support Work or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care facility.
  • Current certifications in First Aid and CPR.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
