About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Mustang Glass & Door Services Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality glass installation services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Glass Requirements

Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation project.

Measure and Cut Glass

Measure, mark, and cut glass to precise specifications to ensure a perfect fit.

Install Glass Panes

Position and secure glass panes in frames, ensuring a secure and watertight seal.

Assemble and Install Glass Products

Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products, following manufacturer instructions.

Install Hardware and Repair Glass Structures

Install door, window, and other hardware, and repair glass doors and other glass structures as needed.

Work at Heights and Operate Equipment

Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and operate man-lift mobile equipment, cranes, and other lifting equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.

Work Setting

Commercial work setting, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.

Physical Demands

Physically demanding role, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Tools and Equipment

Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary tools and equipment.

Language and Benefits

English language proficiency and access to free parking, a permanent work term, and 38 to 44 hours of work per week.
