As a Refrigeration Systems Technician at Dot Foods, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and oversight of our CO2 refrigeration systems. This role involves performing regular inspections, diagnosing issues, and providing assistance with various building equipment. You will also be tasked with developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and working collaboratively with different teams to uphold safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions effectively.
- Support the maintenance of other equipment within the facility.
- Create and implement SOPs to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Utilize lean thinking methodologies to minimize waste.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance or engineering roles.
- Proficient in motor controls, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance techniques.
- Capability to operate Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).
- Technical training in HVAC-R, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Familiarity with water treatment processes and power tools.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
