**Responsibilities**

  • Be able to sort, collect, and distribute mail in a safe and timely manner
  • Provide a qualified substitute or assistant to cover vacations/absences or overtime (as needed)
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of local infrastructure, including roads, clients, and delivery receptacles
  • Ensure mail is safely in your possession
  • Treat various CPC products and services (Change of Address, Damaged Mail, Bill Delivery (BID), and others)
  • Wear Canada Post identification while delivering and ensure visibility while collecting and delivering mail from clients
  • Lift and transport items up to 50 lb/22.7 kg
  • Have experience in deliveries and using a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions

**Requirements**

  • Minimum annual salary: $16,273.57
  • Maximum annual salary: $20,838.38
  • Annual vehicle expenses: $8,523.01
  • Annual variable allowance: $1,070.65
  • Valid provincial permanent driver's license - Class 5 or G
  • Safe driving record
  • Vehicle with a minimum cargo space of 100 cu ft (2832 liters)
  • Roof made of metal and power outlet for accessories allowing the installation of Canada Post signage and rotating lights
  • 5th door/ rear hatch for loading oversized and bulky items (preferable)
  • Provide and maintain required auto insurance
  • Notify your insurance company of vehicle use during employment at Canada Post
