Job Summary

BURNCO LLC is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in concrete testing and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site testing of concrete to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality ready-mix products.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, site staff, and third-party testing companies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Troubleshoot and make recommendations to resolve quality control issues.
  • Document and evaluate placement, logistical, and curing conditions that impact product performance.
  • Assess and report on third-party testing procedures and quality of testing.
  • Enter and analyze concrete test results from in-house and third-party lab testing.
  • Prepare and test cylinders for compressive strength.
  • Sample and test ready-mix raw materials.
  • Develop and execute batch trials.
  • Regularly visit customers' sites to ensure quality control standards are met.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team to achieve company goals.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in concrete testing and quality control.
  • Knowledge of CSA field testing procedures and industry standards.
  • CCIL/ACI certification for concrete testing is an asset.
  • A valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
