BURNCO LLC is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our ready-mix products by conducting on-site testing and inspections.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct on-site testing of concrete to ensure compliance with CSA standards.
- Communicate with clients, onsite staff, and third-party testing companies to ensure seamless operations.
- Troubleshoot and make recommendations to maintain high-quality ready-mix products.
- Document and evaluate third-party testing procedures and quality of testing.
- Enter and assess concrete test results from in-house and third-party lab testing.
- Prepare and test cylinders for compressive strength.
- Sample and test ready-mix raw materials.
- Prepare and execute batch trials.
- Regularly commute to customers' sites.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous concrete testing experience.
- Knowledge of CSA field testing procedures.
- CCIL/ACI certification for concrete testing is considered an asset.
- A valid Alberta Driver's License with at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
