Concrete Mason

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Mason to join our team at Imeneo Construction Ltd. As a Concrete Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and finishing concrete structures, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Construct, repair, and finish concrete structures, including foundations, walls, and floors.
- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade and depth specifications.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure proper settling.
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, ensuring safety and adhering to regulations.
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Physically demanding work environment, requiring heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Accurate and dependable individual with a strong work ethic.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete masonry or a related field.
- Provides physical accessibility accommodations, such as ramps and elevators.
- Participates in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees.
- Participates in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.
