Job Summary

Supported Lifestyles Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respite Supportive Roommate to provide live-in support to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges in a group home setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct, front-line supports in the home, utilizing behavioral intervention skills to benefit the individuals we support.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, life skills, and health and medical support.
  • Support clients with their activities, such as grocery shopping, meal preparation, and transportation.
  • Encourage clients to participate in active recreation, such as bowling and swimming.
Requirements
  • SE/SW area preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to provide personal care required.
  • Experience working with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges.
  • Experience providing behavioral supports to clients.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Vehicle required for this position.
