Senior Structural Engineer

Are you a skilled structural engineer looking for a challenging role in the mining industry? We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at EXP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform site visits to inspect and assess existing mining infrastructure.
  • Design and analyze steel structures and concrete foundations for mining and heavy industrial projects.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, and scope documents.
  • Contribute to technical memos and reports, and undertake detailed working drawings.
  • Ensure all assigned projects are carried out within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Perform post-construction services, including shop drawing reviews and field reviews.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized University.
  • Minimum 5+ years of project engineering, design, and construction experience in surface and underground mining.
  • Strong hands-on experience in steel structure analysis and design, reinforced concrete structures, and building and heavy equipment foundations.
  • Proficiency in Structural Analysis and Design software.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary BIM environment.
  • Strong computer-oriented skills, including MS Office products and MathCAD.
