Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Tulloch. As a key member of our Planning and Engineering team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of Civil Engineering projects, including Land Development and Linear Infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with our Planning and Engineering teams on a variety of projects
- Be responsible for the review and preparation of technical deliverables, including Stormwater Management Designs & Reports and Functional Servicing Studies
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to prepare and review detailed engineering drawings
- Apply technical modelling software such as Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, and HEC-RAS
- Provide on-site technical review and general review certification when required
- Prepare and review project cost estimates and bid documentation and perform bid evaluation
- Coordinate project needs with the Project Manager, Discipline Manager, clients, regulatory entities, vendors, and subcontractors
- 6+ years experience working in a Civil Engineering role
- Valid P.Eng. licence (via PEO)
- Robust knowledge in Stormwater Management, Site Servicing, and Water Resources Engineering
- Experience completing the Municipal Class EA Planning process
- Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards
- Strong skills with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and technical modelling software
- Ability to exercise independent judgment within defined parameters and in alignment with business objectives
- Willingness to travel periodically as needed
